New Year Eve!

Finally, the end of 2008 had come!

Life in WoW became an essential part in my life. It was a moment to escape from reality. I could relax in wow. I could enjoy questing in Northrend. I could chat with my RL fds in wow like we guys used to hang out in high school cafetria. I felt really nice to have same feeling back. LOL!

last night, all were not free to log. Just me and renren logged after gym. i did some dailies and got invited for Heroic VOA. We wiped once with like 46k HP left on boss. We got him on 2nd time. Funny part was the 1st try that we had only 24 men on it. Loot were hateful chest for rouge, hateful mail chest for hunter, Plate Dps t7 chest, and Druid healing t7 glove. i lost the roll and felt disappointed. I hope it dropped the shoulder next time for healing druid.

i am still collecting Emblem of Heroism to reserve my gear need if we decided to try arena. lol

tonight is New Year Eve. I will not log on 2008. Seriously, my resolution on 2008 was trying not to wow for 2 years. So see you all next year. Happy New Year!

Xmas, Pro Xmas and Pre New Year

Holiday season should be a good time to enjoy all foods and stay in touch with families and friends. It was nice to PUG Lsevener 1st Obsidian Sanctum. We were so pleased to have Paladi, Pkny(in priest), Wass(in DK), Me, and renren. We just looked for 5 more DPS: 1 rouge, , 1 lock, 1 moonkin, 1 shaman and 1 hunter. the reason we need to balance the rail drop. It was nice to pug with all those guys. IT was really fun that 5 of us raided together like KZ old days.
Wass (in DK) got his head (really decent gear), the hunter got the glove token dropped, i won the bag on roll and the moonkin got the bag which had 5 emblems. It was a good Xmas raid for all of us. Even we lost on items, we just laughed and were pleased to raid.
Day after Xmas was a dumb work day. I brought my laptop to work and level my toons abit. After work, i went to gym. I didnt feel well at all...

Saturday, i was resting in home due to stomach virus. It hurt. Still, i woke up at 9pm (i did sleep almost whole day without food/water). Paladi called me and made me logged. We went for 2 Heroics : it was UP and GD. Without Pkny and Wass and with Torpedo finally reached lv 80 on friday late night, we pug 2 from LFG. it came out the 2 old friends from L8raid (a pug raid group to raid almost everything in TBC era). We chatted abit and started to pull. it was fun to have 2 old raiders in our group. it was fast and nice. We got 2 heroics about 2 hrs and found out that it was 2am. i went back to sleep.

Sunday, my stomach was getting better and i could run around in Northrend. It was good to have renren and Pkny back to group. We cleared fast on GD, HOS, and old kingdom. We called at 1 sth and Everyone was happy about it.

Monday night, no one was home when i arrived home. I went out to grab some dinner and logged on. When all logged on, we started heroics again. last night, we went GD, AN, and COT. It was 1st failure attempt to miss the timer. We wiped once and wasted some times on my dead due to healing aggo. but we tried to pull as fast as we could with all AOE on mobs. It was mad crazy if you watched us to pull. When we reached the extra boss, the timer expired. We was thinking if we could pull him out and dps down to gain some time. However, boss was immuned to taunt and stepped to the portal. We summarized up that our AOE (5 of us can do AOE: mage aoe, healing druid Aoe, Tank swipe, pally aoe and Hunter AOE). We should be ok to get him tonight. I will overheal renren and stack HoTs. Then we would do AoE once renren built aggo. i would do AOE when renren was full HP. That would kill mobs faster and spare more time if anything happened.

Tuesday Night is my gym night. i would love to execrise more and went home to farm some badges. :) (2 more emblems for caster t7 chest WOOHOO!)

More Holiday Mood

last night, we had one shot down Kel'Thuzad in Naxx.
Some interesting points:
1) no one had died on void zone
2) i didn't use my mana potion (just innervate once on myself)
3) Sirtank was still died once
4) Birthday power from Rub? (we pulled Kel'Thuzad after 12 and Sherider called out on vent. I am wondering if the birthday power was related)

it was so nice that i got my druid head piece. now i had 3 pieces of t7. HEHE
Well, i still needed my T7 shoulder and T7 pant. As i checked with rings and comments, i would buy the rings from badges. now i was still using the lion heart ring from quest. that was a great up for me. 15 more badges i needed. Hopefully i could farm them on Wednesday. Tonight, Dethno will launch our guild 1st 25 man raid in Heroic Naxx. I hear that Heroic isnt hard as it intents to. So, i will have fun tonight in gym and head home for raid :)

Holiday mood :)

Last week, a couple good things happened and a couple of bad things happened.
The good things were:
1) I got my mace: War Mace of Unrequited Love dropped from Keristrasza in Heroic Nexus
2) I got my waist upgraded from 40 emblem of heroism
3) I finally burned my dkp for T7 chest piece, and a neck dropped from Naxx. It is nice to have 2 pieces bonus from t7. lol
4) I bought the leather BoE epic boot: Earthgiving boot :(
5) I bought the idol from emblem of heroism and obtained the achievement for superior (all items had equipped were item lv 187 or above.)
6) I had completed my achievement for cleared all bosses in Naxx :)
The bad things:
1) My rings, and my neck, t7 shoulder, t7 pants, and trinket didn’t drop >.<
2) I still didnt get the head piece: Helm of Anomalus from Anomalus in Heroic Nexus.
3) I burned up all the $$ for tailoring receipts.
Overall, good things were more than bad things. LOL
Remark:

1) Saturday night Heroic was a good run even it ended at 5am on Sunday night. Pkny (in priest) received his epic Bronze Dragon mount. Funny fact was we had 2 tanks: renren and Wass (in DK), 1 dps: Paladi (Ret pally), and 2 healers: a tree and Pkny (in priest). Dps speaking was bad because we could clean mobs faster but on boss we were slower than usual. We spent 16 mins on 2 bosses and ended up to rush after the secret package. It was epic rush that renren taunted 3/4 group each time and Wass helped OT 2 groups while me and Pkny healed everyone. We kept pulling even we reached the rest point. I was killed due to healing aggo and renren battled resurrected me while Wass tanked all mobs that renren pulled. Suddenly, Wass was killed by mobs and renren burned his CD on berserker to gain extra hit point for longer battle. We managed to keep pulling mobs and cleared it up. Renren, Paladi and Pkny went to engage the extra boss while I was reviving Wass. We knew that we had about 2 mins to bring the boss down. We were not sure if we had enough DPS to burn him. But we tried anyway. The boss opened a portal after the timer expired. We were like fk... we downed boss @ 1 or 2 % and he was stepping toward the portal. And WE DID DOWN HIM! YES WE MADE IT. It was an unbelievable moment to us. Congratz Pkny got his nice flying mount.

2) It was a nice raid on Naxx last night with my guild mate. Pledge Quarter cleared. No healing items dropped. Am I cursed in Naxx? 1% drop rate would apply if my name was in the raid group. LOL. It was a joke but it was true that not many healing items dropped in Naxx when I was in raid. Shammy type gears did drop alot...sigh...It was ok. I needed to learn to be patient. HAHA. Anyway, wish us luck on tonight at Kel'Thuzad. We wiped 7 times on him last night due to various mistakes like stayed in void zone, got ice tomb and chained tomb nearby party, an early or suddenly died on trash, OOM, etc... We hope we could do better than this tonight. Hopefully, we will bring Kel'Thuzad again tonight :). Please wish me luck on drop. I need the head piece badly :)

4 days summary XD

That was a good night. We downed Gothik the Harvester, 4 horseman, and Patchwerk. No drop for the mighty druid. :( but I had completed the achievement for cleared Military Quarter. LoL Thursday and Friday were rough days. Paladi, Pkny, Wass (in dk), Renren and i were running heroic as usual. Somehow, we noticed we were a good team. We could have 3 tanks at the same time. (renren is main tank, and Paladi and Wass (in DK) could be offtank.) and sometime we could have 2 healers with2 tanks to hold extra mobs. (Paladi and I heal while renren and wass (in DK) grabbed all mobs). We had so many closed-to-wipe pulls but we managed all alive. We completed Cot: Strath timer as 3 mins early and got renren the bronze dragon mount. We were so happy about that we guys rolled to win renren again ( even though that mount was for him since each of us had one already XD). We ran 5 heroic on Thursday: UK, Cot:Strath, Nexus, Violet Hold and Gundrak. And on Friday, I logged lately. Only 2 Heroic instances we went: The Nexus and Violet Hold. It was sad that the healing mace didn’t drop on last boss.
so, I slept at 3 and woke up at 8 on Saturday. I went out with my gf for a nice weekend trip on New Jersey. It was a fun trip. Sunday evening arrived home. My body was like to have sleep. However, Paladi was going to take a flight back to Buffalo. So I dropped him at airport like 9 and back home at 10. Wass whispered me to tell guild that he would not be for Naxx. I whispered beros and He invited me for raid. It was about 1 o’clock. Wass back him while Paladi was home. We had 2 bosses down in Construct wing. And I obtained the achievement for the 2 bosses: Grobbulus and Gluth. Only 2 more bosses I could obtain the achievement for the fall of Naxxramas. 
tonight, it is my raid night. I will go home, finish my dinner and log on early for leveling my hunter. hehe

Gear Farming

Last night, it was my official opening fight on Naxx. Naxx reset on Tuesday morning and we started raid at 11 server time as usual. I was home about 10:30pm (did some exercises in gym) and went to shower. I logged on and got invitation from Dethno. Wass and renren were invited last night, too. So we guys were waiting beros to log. Somehow we waited for 15 mins and no sign to see beros to log. Dethno and Wiseman decided to clear mobs in Arachnid Quarter while waiting. It was easy to clear mobs. When we were at boss room: Anub'Rekhan, we decided to try on 9 men on that. Sherider explained the fight that renren would OT the adds and Dethno would deal with Anub'Rekhan. Once the Locust Swarm casted, Dethno would run around like a circle pattern while all of us stay on the far side to dps/heal. It was not easy but the best we could bring the boss down to 14% of health. So Wiseman invited a helpful melee, SirTank, to replace Beros slack. With a heavy dps arm warrior, we brought down the boss smoothly. Then, we forgot about beros absence and Dethno commented that beros would not receive the DKP for showing up on time. It was like the class attendance in college. LOL.

2nd boss on Arachnid Quarter was Grand Widow Faerlina was not a bad one. I think we got her at 2nd attempt (or one shot her?). We just killed three of the follower who could be mind-controlled and prevented Grand Widow Faerlina to frenzy. We did with one left and we nailed her. It was massive fight that i needed to avoid her AOE (rain of fire) and healed thru her Poison bolt volley. Good run.

3rd boss on Arachnid Quarter Maexxna was a hard one. We had like couple wiped on that. Some notes I needed to remind myself. 1st, Abolish Poison must cast all the time. 2nd, Wild growth for raid is really helpful. By noticing 2 notes, that was a tank and spank fight with abolish poison + all HoTs casted all the time on MT. My mana was drained so bad even with a shadow priest to recharge. But I would know better and did better on next time hehe.

It was about 1:30pm when we cleared Arachnid Quarter. We head to Military Quarter to clear Instructor Razuvious to conclude our night. The boss fight was so fun. Tanks would control 2 mobs to tank the boss. Dps would focus on boss. As explaining on this boss, tanks must taunt the boss: Instructor Razuvious with shield wall on and the control debuff will expire on each minute. It was a fun run. We did one shot him and killed accordingly. My druid waist Girdle of Lenience didn’t drop last night. I hope it would be dropped soon.

More Raid

Good Run last night. We had one shot the Sartharion with all mobs cleared. It was all tank and spank. Just be aware of Lava wave came to you and you would be fine. Sartharion didn’t drop any good for restor druid. Then we moved on to 4 horsemen. It was a fun run. At first, 4 bosses would run to 4 corners. MT and OT would engage 2 melee bosses: Thane Kor'Thazz and Baron Rivendare. One lock tank would hold aggo from caster boss: Lady Blaumeux and lock healer would generate threat to get other caster boss: Sir Zeliek. MT and OT switched their targets when they had 3 stack of debuff on them. We had tried couple time due to transition miscommunication, marco error, LOS on healing, wrong position, etc. on the last pull, MT and OT did that perfectly. 1st I overhealed on Tank to provide MT to have time for transition. Also, I kept wild growth on dps and me. I saw once we had like 5 stack of debuff but I healed thru all like rej, wild growth, and stack 2 lifeblooms. After couple second, all of us back to max health. After we got Thane Kor'Thazz and Baron Rivendare, we moved to Lady Blaumeux and Sir Zeliek. Those 2 bosses were as same tactic and same rotation as Thane Kor'Thazz and Baron Rivendare. We nailed them perfectly. Druid chest dropped. Not a big up on me (sta and int increase and with 2 slots + haste rate). Staff dropped (sta, int, spi, less healing bonus, + haste rate). No a big up on me. I was looking for shoulder, legging and head piece upgrading. Chest and hand could obtain via Lv 80 heroic badges. There is no point I up for chest. Passed to wisemen and wish him to be a happy guy atm. :D
tonight, I will go to gyms for some exercise. Hopefully, I can get home early for fresh Naxx. 
